Senior Consultant & Program Manager

      This unique position blends client-facing consulting support with project management and operational leadership. The Senior Consultant & Program Manager will partner directly with the President & Founder to deliver Wooden Consulting’s leadership and coaching programs, while also overseeing program execution, communications, and member engagement for client initiatives. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and skilled facilitator who is equally comfortable in front of clients and behind the scenes managing logistics, timelines, and outcomes.

      - Partner with the President & Founder in preparing, facilitating, and delivering leadership development and coaching programs. 
- Serve as a co-facilitator and professional point of contact for client engagements, ensuring a seamless and impactful experience. 
- Provide coaching support where appropriate. 
- Support the design and customization of curriculum, participant guides, presentations, and leadership tools. 
- Design visually compelling materials (e.g., presentations, guides, and marketing collateral) using tools like Canva to support programs and client-facing deliverables. 
- Manage scheduling and coordination of client engagements, including calendars, logistics, and materials.

      - Manage coalition operations and execution of strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with annual priorities and member engagement goals. 
- Coordinate coalition meetings, agendas, and follow-up, including minutes, attendance tracking, and action accountability. 
- Oversee member engagement and re-engagement strategies; build trusted relationships with CEOs and credit union champions. 
- Support communications, storytelling, and PR efforts in partnership with coalition leadership and external partners. 
- Develop and refine systems, processes, and reporting to scale coalition operations and improve member experience. 
- Provide oversight and direction to administrative support staff contributing to coalition operations.

      - Develop and maintain systems for contracts, scheduling, communications, and project documentation. 
- Contribute to proposals and other deliverables to support client engagement. 
- Support business development activities, including creating a quarterly newsletter and drafting articles for industry publication. 
- Contribute to Wooden Consulting’s digital presence by updating website content and creating social media posts. 
- Conduct research on leadership, coaching, and credit union industry trends to inform client programs and thought leadership. 
- Provide operational and strategic support to scale Wooden Consulting’s programs and strengthen the impact of its collaborative partnerships. 
 
- 
      
        
      
      - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Organizational Leadership, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience). 
- Experience in the credit union industry. 
- 7+ years of experience in consulting, professional services, financial services, or a related industry. 
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with strong attention to detail. 
- Exceptional facilitation, communication, and relationship-building skills with executives and boards. 
- Strong project management and operational skills, with experience in coalition, membership, or program management a plus. 
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Canva (or similar design software), and familiarity with project management or CRM tools preferred.

      - Familiarity with executive coaching, leadership development, or PR/communications. 
- Ability to thrive in a growing business with both entrepreneurial independence and collaborative teamwork. 
- Comfort working in a dual role balancing client-facing delivery with behind-the-scenes operational excellence.
